Eyes are soul windows

Poets say eyes are like soul windows, but let’s make it more interesting. Instead of just talking about eye color, let’s use colors that reveal something about the character. For example, “silver lightning” eyes suggest sharpness and quick thinking, while “gunmetal” eyes might imply a tough and emotionless demeanor.

Eye shapes matter too, like whether they’re round, almond, or hooded. It influences how readers see a character’s emotions and personality.

When describing eye movements, avoid using plain words like “looked.” Spice it up with words like “gaze,” “glance,” or “surveyed.” Also, don’t overuse details like blinking eyelashes—it can get repetitive.

We’re not just stopping at appearances; let’s talk about eye disorders, conditions, and even types of eyeglasses. It’s about creating characters with eyes that tell stories beyond the ordinary, making the reading experience richer and more engaging.
